    Budget Counseling
    Professional, certified counselors offer individual and confidential advice, Monday-Thursday: 9AM-7PM (EST), Friday 9AM-5PM (EST). Our counselors provide assistance in maintaining family budgets, managing personal finances, using credit wisely and building a savings plan. FCCC has assisted more than 60,000 individuals and families with financial difficulties.

    Debt Management
    FCCC’s Debt Management Program (DMP) is a confidential program individually designed to provide our clients who are financially over extended, with reduced monthly payment plans in partnership with creditors; that in many instances, also shorten the term of the debt. These debt repayment plans provide sound alternatives to bankruptcy.

    Professionally trained and certified counselors provide services Monday-Thursday: 9AM-7PM (EST), Friday 9AM-5PM (EST) to evaluate the client’s financial situation, assist in creating a budget and spending plan, and negotiate repayment plans that lower or eliminate interest and late payment fees. All unsecured debt is consolidated into one affordable payment that is disbursed on behalf of the client to the creditors on a monthly basis. Currently there are more than 17,000 active clients throughout the entire nation in the FCCC Debt Management Program (DMP) repaying more than $72 million a year to business and creditors.

    Education
    Education is a key ingredient to successfully regaining control of one’s personal finances. FCCC is committed to educating consumers and providing them with the tools that they need to succeed. FCCC offers community-wide seminars on money management, credit and consumerism. These seminars are conducted by trained FCCC representatives for schools, churches, civic organizations, employee groups and professional associations.

    Homeownership Counseling
    FCCC is a comprehensive housing counseling agency. Homeownership counseling services include pre and post purchase counseling, mortgage default prevention and resolution, rent delinquency, and landlord training. FCCC also serves homebuyer and homeowners through community organizations and governmental agencies. Homeownership counseling and workshops will benefit more than 1,400 individuals and families during the year.
